Katie is a nature, landscape, and portrait photographer currently living in Surprise, Arizona. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Katie travels there frequently and enjoys photographing the beautiful Oregon coast and forests. From a young age , she began capturing the natural beauty of her parents' backyard flower garden with a Kodak 110mm camera. She fell in love with photography in a high school photojournalism class, where she was a writer, photographer and editor of the school newspaper.

In 2021, she followed her passion even further and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in digital photography from Southern New Hampshire University, along with a Minor in Graphic Design.

Now, she often heads out to the local desert and mountains to capture sunsets, or heads to her own backyard garden to photograph seasonal flowers and her special hummingbird visitors.
